The Wildlife Conservationist Side of the Hunter

Conservation is an important factor in preservation and management of our natural resources. The wildlife conservationist, environmentalist, ecologist, and preservationist are people concerned with preserving the environment and natural resources. Our conservationist performs an outstanding service in terms of preserving the environment and natural resources. The number of women and men dedicated to conservation are a small number in relation to the immense wilderness and vast lain they are charged to protect. There is a wildlife conservationist involved in the preservation and management of our natural resources. They are great in number, span across the immense wilderness and vast plains, so in need of their contribution.      They plant trees; trees indigenous to that region, these trees provides protection and shelter in the raging storm, shade in the sweltering heat of  summer, food providing nourishment and essential vitamins and minerals for the creatures, and additional wilderness and habitat for that region of the world. Each tree planted contributes by aiding the efforts to combat global warming.

They plant shrubbery; shrubbery that provides shelter from predators, and food for the creatures; supplying fruits and berries that provides nourishment and additional essential vitamins and minerals for the creatures, and additional habitat for that region of the world.

They prepare soil, sew seed, planting grazing plants, and grasses in the form of grazing plots they call; "food plots." Plants and grasses that is indigenous to that region of the world. This provides food, providing nourishment and a vast array of essential vitamins and minerals for the creatures.  It also provides shelter, and protection for animals, birds, and insects indigenous to that region of the world.

They erect feeders; power and gravity type feeders; feeders that feed year round, utilizing good quality feeders necessary for dependability. The feed is often a delicacy not providing a great deal of nourishment, so they insure this feed is not the primary source of feed for the wildlife. I have seen hunter utilize feed high in protein and full of essential vitamins and minerals.

The land lease utilized to obtain hunting land by a vast number of hunters. The land lease usually insures payment of the land taxes for the farmer. Thus, maintaining both the natural wilderness and the planted forest of our nation without interruption.

They are active in wildlife management to insure the survival of the species. They do not involve themselves with the malicious or unnecessary killing of living creatures they have a basic understanding that everything has a purpose and is necessary for the survival of the wilderness. They do not import animals, plants, feed, or soil that might import devastation to the wilderness.

They seek education in both conservation and management of wildlife from various sources such as "Wilderness Calls".  They are concerned with preserving the environment and natural resources.

Wildlife conservationists are the hunters of the world participating in these and other supportive activities. Hunters truly are the caretakers of our immense wilderness and vast plains. Welfare hunters are not considered clandestine conservationist and are not actively involved in any one of the above-mentioned activities.   The hunter performs an outstanding service in preserving the environment and our natural resources.
