Bill's Testimonial

Bill gives his testimonial below, about his recent hunting trip to Wilderness Calls.  Bill is a man of few words and a bit shy. He has been visiting Wilderness Calls for sometime, but most of his time has been spent in helping build the cabin, etc.  This particular trip was for an actual hunting trip and bonding time with his son-in law.  This trip is the very first time Bill has ever harvested an animal. See also  the traditional smearing of the blood on Bill's face, both in his pictures and video. Enjoy his story and the pics he sent.  In the story, he mentions taking a nap and if you go just below his pictures of hunting, you can get a big chuckle out of Bill and Sam (CEO) taking quite a nap!

Bill's Testimonial
As I traveled to Willderness Call Hunting grounds all I could think about was riding my ATV four wheeler on the vast trails and enjoying the great outdoors.  I arrived about noon, unloaded the ATV four wheeler and headed out.  What a way to start your week.
During my stay the hunting was great!  I saw deer and wild hogs one morning around 7:30 AM and I harvested a 5 point/140 pound buck by 8:00AM.  There were also 2 doe and 2 hogs killed during the week.  The prize for the week was a 390 pound hog killed by my son-in-law; Mike.
The food was the best.   You never went hungry.  If you did it was your own fault.
During the day we gathered firewood for the camp or looked for deer sign and even had time for a nap before going hunting in the afternoon.
After returning at dark and having supper, everyone hung out by the fire and the stories begin.......
After a few days of this I was able to return to work and as the stresses began I would allow my mind to drift back to the  great outdoors and the serenity of Wilderness Calls.

    Thanks Wilderness Calls,
         Bill Hohenstein, Conservationist
Caught in the act! NAP TIME

These pictures are classical! Nothing like a good picture of the CEO with his mouth wide open!
